The CorePower holiday photoshoot is truly the best collaborative space to be in. We incorporate fresh color palettes, new takes on lighting, and creative hair and makeup looks. And once again, we shot in Realm, the best studio to boot.
Along with our holiday focus, Lululemon and CorePower teamed up to present a private label line. As a new-ish retail photographer, I was honored to capture the beautiful Lulu pieces on our models. The fabrics were incredibly soft, durable, and really tough not to want to take all of them home. It was not lost on me the profound role I had to show these pieces authentically and connect them personally to CPY and Lulu lovers.
Collaboration is key when it comes to all shoots, but particularly comes into play when its holiday based. Listening to CorePower’s vision, studying the mood board, thoroughly reviewing the shot list, and letting the creativity flow throughout the session, are all pieces to making the day feel expansive.
During this shoot, I was also in the process of moving to Portland, Maine. Which made this campaign incredibly sentimental for me. The transition to the east coast from the southwest mountains. To ocean views rather than high desert landscapes. Moving my work to become a Maine photographer hadn’t hit me quite yet, until we began wrapping up the day. I have been deeply grateful for CorePower as a client. They transitioned me from a novice commercial and brand photographer, to a well-seasoned one in just a few short years. My goal was to bring the biggest creative influence and the best of my self to the shoot this day.
Please enjoy this work and lots of love to the team below!
